President Obama: It gets better

President Obama shares his message of hope and support for LGBT youth who may be experiencing being bullied.  He created the video to dispel the myth that bullying is a normal right of passage.  His message is that if you’re in trouble, you need to know that there are caring adults who can help.   The President wants you to know you are not alone and you do not deserve to be bulled.  If you are feeling down, make sure to reach out to those who care about you.  And know that things will get better.  In time you will look back and see that your differences can be a source of pride and a source of strength.  See some of the videos from our “I heart my sexuality” campaign to hear stories of young people talking about the ways that they are proud to be LGBT.”
