WBEZ Reports: LGBT teen suicide risks & preventative measures

Teen suicide is an epidemic.  In fact, it is the 3rd leading cause of death among adolescents in the U.S.  The new IMPACT study “Suicidal Ideation and Self-Harm in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Youth,” published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, focuses on the risks specific to LGBT youth and the preventative measures that communities and families can do to help.
