Spring 2013 Internships
The IMPACT Program is seeking undergraduate and graduate interns for the Spring of 2013. IMPACT works with a number of diverse interns who help with all aspects of work within the program, however a limited number of positions are available. Interns and volunteers who can commit to approximately 5-10 hours a week over six months are preferred. Typically, we recruit new interns three times a year – Fall, Spring, and Summer. Northwestern federal work-study students may be eligible to receive pay for hours worked. For internship opportunities which count for school credit, please check with your school’s internship program to inquire about credit/stipend options.
IMPACT is based in the Department of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University and is directed by Dr. Brian Mustanski. The program coordinates multiple research studies focused on youth development, mental health, HIV prevention, and substance use. The majority of projects are conducted in partnership with community-based organizations, including Center on Halsted in Chicago.
Please complete the below application and return it, along with your resume or CV to Dr. Michelle Birkett (firstname.lastname@example.org). The deadline to receive the application is January 15, 2013.
