Youth Videos Take HIV/AIDS Head On

Youth “Fight HIV – HEAD ON!” with REDHOT+ videos where they dance, sing, and share their stories!  The REDHOT+ partnership with has selected several youth-designed and directed videos that address stigma and misinformation about HIV/AIDS – while using popular music to convey their message.  The Red Hot Organization is the leading international organization dedicated to fighting AIDS through pop culture.  Visit to learn more about their next music project or to get more information about HIV/AIDS. FIGHT HIV – HEAD ON, by the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland, OH (Winner of the Public Service Announcement Category)

All the videos presented on REDHOT+’s website feature a generation of youth telling its own stories, using its own voice, to bring awareness and action to HIV/AIDS in their neighborhoods and around the globe. Another winner, “Thembi’s Diary,” uses the words of Thembi Ngubane from South Africa along with the gorgeous artwork and film editing of Jisoo Kim to paint a picture of what daily life is like for a young woman living with AIDS.
