2013 Summer Internship with IMPACT
|Are you a young filmmaker, website designer, journalist, activist, or someone who’s interested in public health, research and LGBTQ issues? We’re looking for exceptional undergraduate and graduate interns this summer!
The IMPACT Program is based in the Department of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University and is directed by Dr. Brian Mustanski. IMPACT‘s mission is to conduct translational research that improves the health of the LGBT community. The program coordinates multiple studies focused on youth development, mental health, HIV prevention, and substance use. The majority of projects are conducted in partnership with community-based organizations, including the Center on Halsted.
Interns are asked to commit approximately 10 hours a week over six months, including June to October. Northwestern federal work-study students may be eligible to receive pay for hours worked. For internship opportunities that count for school credit, please check with your school’s internship program.
