The Equality Forum has put together these brief videos about 31 different LGBT icons.  The icons are selected for their achievements in their field of endeavor; for their status as a national hero; or for their significant contribution to GLBT civil rights.  The LGBT community is one of the only communities that rarely learns our history at home, in public schools or in religious institutions. GLBT History Month teaches our heritage, provides role models, builds community and makes the civil rights statement of our extraordinary national and international contributions.
